Creating & Managing Users within Tinkle Manager

Quickly add and edit users on Tinkle Manager in just a few simple steps.

To add new users, start by navigating to the Users tab in Tinkle Manager. You can choose from several methods based on your specific needs and the number of users you wish to add:

  • Option 1: Manually add a single new user.
    • This is suitable for adding individuals one at a time.
  • Option 2: Manually add multiple new users.
    • Select this when you need to add several users in a single session.
  • Option 3: Manually add a single pending user.
    • Use this to add an individual whose activation is pending.
  • Option 4: Manually add multiple pending users.
    • Ideal when you need to register multiple users who will be activated later.
  • Option 5: Upload a CSV file to add pending users in bulk.
    • This option is efficient for onboarding large groups of users at once.

Understanding these options allows you to select the most efficient method for your user management requirements.

The step-by-step instructions below will guide you through each of the above methods for adding users.

 

How to manually add a single new user

  • Select Add new user
  • Enter the user email address, first name, and last name.
  • Select the correct license plan for the user.
  • Select the user permission level.
  • Click Save

 

How to manually add multiple new users

  • Select the arrow at the side of Add new user and choose Add multiple users

  • Enter the user email address, first name, and last name.
  • Select the correct license plan for the user.
  • Select the user permission level.
  • Complete the above steps for all users you wish to add.
  • Click Save

 

How to manually add a pending user

  • Navigate to the Pending tab within the Users page.
  • Click Add new pending user

  • Enter the user email address, first name, and last name.
  • Select the correct license plan for the user.
  • Select the go live date.
  • Select the user permission level.
  • Complete the above steps for all users you wish to add.
  • Click Save

 

How to manually add multiple pending users

  • Navigate to the Pending tab within the Users page.
  • Select the arrow at the side of Add new pending user and choose Add multiple pending users
  • Enter the user email address, first name, and last name.
  • Select the correct license plan for the user.
  • Select the user permission level.
  • Complete the above steps for all users you wish to add.
  • Click Save

 

How to add users using CSV upload

  • Navigate to the Pending tab within the Users page.
  • Select the Upload CSV arrow at the side of Add new pending user.
  • A pop up box will appear. Select Choose File.
  • Find your CSV file to upload. Please note, the CSV file must contain the following headers:
    • Email
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Plan (0 for Unlimited, 1 for Go or 2 or Anywhere)
    • User type (1 for admin, 2 for standard)
    • Call recordings (yes or no)
    • Go Live Date (yyyy-mm-dd)
  • Click Save

The users will then be uploaded to the pending users section. From here, you can manually activate the users one by one, or you can Activate all at the same time as shown below.
