Configuring Numbers within Tinkle Manager

You can configure your numbers within Tinkle to suit you. Read below to find out how!

Once your number has been allocated to your Tinkle tenant, you can customize its settings in several ways, as outlined below. Begin by logging in to manager.tinkletelecom.com & navigating to the "Numbers" tab.

Here, you will find a list of all the numbers currently assigned to your Tinkle tenant.

General Number Settings:

To edit a specific number, simply click on the pencil icon. This action will allow you to modify the following fields:

  • The name associated with the number
  • The designated destination for the number (such as user extension, call menu, queue, ring group, etc.)
  • Whether you wish to set this number as the default presentation number for outbound calls
  • Whether you want to enable inbound call recording for this number
  • The Caller ID prefix

Opening Hours & Closed Dates:

By clicking on the dropdown arrow next to a number, you can easily adjust the following settings:

- Set the opening hours for the number and specify the actions to take outside of these hours.

- Define closing dates, which will enable you to preemptively close the business and designate an appropriate destination for calls during this time.
